Jerome Rock limits his practice to Alternative Dispute Resolution, as both an Arbitrator and Mediator with a focus on business, technology and construction industry disputes.

Mediation Training & Experience

  • In 2002, Mr. Rock was among the first Attorneys in the State of Michigan to complete the formal Civil Mediator Training Program conducted by the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Education Provider for the State Bar of Michigan. The 40 hour program was approved by the Michigan Supreme Court Administrative Office. 
  • Each year since 2002, Mr. Rock has participated in the Advanced Negotiation & Dispute Resolution Institute, sponsored by the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, participating in the Mediation and Arbitration Tracks.
  • Mr. Rock completed the Latz Negotiation Institute, Advanced Negotiation Strategies in Mediation.
  • Mr. Rock serves as faculty for the Advanced Mediation Training Program in MED-ARB.
  • Mr. Rock has experience in over 800 mediations.

Mr. Rock is an Approved Civil Mediator on the following Panels:

  • American Arbitration Association, Roster of Neutrals for Mediation and Arbitration for Commercial, Construction and Large Complex Cases

  • Oakland County Circuit Court

  • Oakland County Probate Court

Arbitrator Training & Experience

  • Mr. Rock has participated in Arbitrator Training through the American Arbitration Association and the Arbitration Track of the Advanced Negotiation and Dispute Resolution Institute sponsored by the Institute for Continuing Legal Education.  He is on the Roster of Neutrals for Commercial and Construction Industry disputes for the American Arbitration Association.   He is a member of the R-7 Arbitrator (Joinder/Consolidation) list and serves on the Large Complex Case Panel. He has served as an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association since 1980.
